Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a contractor?

No. Authority Network America does not perform repair, maintenance, or installation work.

We operate the web and routing infrastructure behind a network of local and niche service authority sites that help homeowners reach independent service providers.

Are you a marketplace or a franchise?

No. Authority Network America is not a marketplace and not a franchise.

Each company you may contact through the network is an independent business. Authority Network America provides the structure that organizes service access by category and location and supports direct contact between homeowners and providers.

How do companies qualify to participate?

Companies request participation for specific service categories and geographic areas.

Internally, participation is reviewed based on professional fit, service availability, and responsiveness over time. Authority Network America is not a rating agency and does not publish rankings or scores, but participation is limited to companies that continue to handle homeowner contact appropriately within the network.

Will I see one company, or more than one?

In many cases, a local site will present a primary contact option associated with a participating provider for that service and location.

In some situations, additional providers may also be visible on the same page. You are always free to contact any company you choose, including providers outside of the Authority Network America system.

Do you guarantee the quality of the work?

No. All work is performed by independent companies that are not employees or agents of Authority Network America.

We do not supervise technicians, manage jobs, or control how work is performed. You should treat any provider you contact as you would a contractor you hire directly: ask questions, review estimates, and decide whether to proceed based on your own judgment.

Do you charge homeowners to use the network?

No. There is no fee for homeowners to view Authority Network America sites or to contact participating providers.

Any pricing for services is set by the provider and agreed to directly between you and that company.

How do companies in the network compensate Authority Network America?

Authority Network America is compensated based on actual customer contact events, not on clicks, impressions, or generic website traffic.

Commercial terms are handled directly between Authority Network America and each participating provider and do not affect the pricing you discuss or agree upon with the provider for the work itself.

Are you responsible if something goes wrong on a job?

No. Any agreement for work is between you and the company you choose to hire.

Authority Network America is not a party to that agreement, does not provide warranties, and does not control how work is performed. Questions, concerns, or disputes related to a job should be addressed directly with the company that performed the work.

Can I share feedback about a company?

Yes. You may share feedback with us about your experience with a participating provider.

We may consider that information as part of our internal review of ongoing participation. Authority Network America does not operate a public review platform and does not publish ratings, endorsements, or testimonials for individual companies.

What if no one responds, or I decide not to proceed?

You are never required to use a specific company.

If a provider does not respond or you decide not to move forward, you are free to contact any other provider you prefer, whether listed on our sites or not. Internally, we monitor patterns of non-response or poor engagement and may reduce or remove companies that consistently fail to respond appropriately to homeowner contact.

How do you handle my information?

When you contact a site in the Authority Network America system, your information is used to facilitate contact with providers that match your location and requested service.

We do not operate as a bulk data broker. For details on what information is collected, how it is used, and your choices, please review our Privacy & Terms page.

Where can I read your legal terms?
